Planetary Rover Development

The Space Systems Lab regularly participates in technical and competitive robotics challenges. Through design oriented classwork, teams of students design, develop, and build systems to tackle a variety of competition requirements. These competitions, such as NIA's RASC-AL RoboOps competition, focus on developing innovative mobile platforms for conducting simulated science, and retrieval missions in extreme environments.
